We're Hiring: Software Engineer III | Colorado Springs, CO


Join a cutting-edge team contributing to national defense and aerospace innovation! We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer III to support a high-impact program.


In this role, you'll work on Modeling and Simulation tools used in warfighter training, systems evaluation, and advanced engineering. Youll design, develop, and integrate solutions using Java and C++ in a Linux environment, working with technologies critical to the future of space defense.


What Were Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience (or 3+ with a Masters) in software development
  • Strong skills in Java/C++, OOP, and Agile/SAFe methodologies
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
  • Background in full software development lifecycle
  • Comfortable collaborating and briefing technical stakeholders


Preferred:

  • Experience in missile defense or infrared space surveillance
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools and M&S systems


Location: Schriever SFB, Colorado (10% travel required)
